As with most things, Gen Z’ers have been putting their unique stamp on fashion in a major way. Over on TikTok, they’ve quickly taken over the hashtag #fashiontrends — which has over 800,000 posts to its name — but when it comes to the actual styles they’ve made viral, the reception has been mixed.
While these viral Gen Z fashion trends (and spins on older ones) are certainly creative, a quick peek into the comments section almost always shows that they’re highly subjective, with many TikTok users expressing their disapproval.
