Don’t believe me? Watch this stylist dye their client’s dark hair (with highlights) using this (and the red color) on TikTok!
Of course, I had a red hair phase, and if the pics from 2015 weren’t absurdly embarrassing, I’d show y’all. Nonetheless, this is what I used on my extensions (my real hair had been professionally done using this, but I had light brown hair before going red). No bleach, just my black human hair extensions and this stuff. And let me tell you, this stuff is witchcraft. The color was so vibrant and I always got compliments on my hair. I mean, I couldn’t go anywhere without having a billion convos about my hair color. I was known as the girl with red hair, which I low-key loved. I’m honestly trying to convince myself *not* to buy this right now and go back to red hair, but the devil on my shoulder is chanting *do it, do it, DOOOO ITTTT*. This was the product I couldn’t live without in 2015. I kept bottles on bottles of this in my bathroom. I will let you know right now, though; this stuff bleeds onto everything (as does most hair dyes). I don’t think I wore white the entire time my hair was red, lol. Regardless, I will always swear by this dye. Think I’m gonna have to try it out again in 2024 now, brb, adding to cart and dying my hair red again.
Promising review: “This dye is so gentle on my hair and makes it so easy to go from my natural dark brown, almost-black hair to a bright, vibrant magenta. I get so many compliments on my hair color and it stays bright and vivid for months. It’s honestly such a good color and formula that I feel like it’s more ‘natural’ than my natural hair color.” —T0keahontas
