Paperwork:

• Bank statements (Most tenants are expected to have an annual income that’s at least 40 times the monthly rent)

• Photo ID

• Credit report

• Paystubs (usually last three months)

• Social Security number

• Employment verification letter

• W2

• Guarantor paperwork (if you don’t make 40 times the monthly rent)

Finances:

• Application fee

• First and last month’s deposit

• A broker’s fee (sometimes this is waved)
