By the end of the Season 1 finale, Sydney emerges (following an apology from Carmy) to find the crew opening cans that Mikey used as a stash spot for cash. Sydney was there to pick up a check, but once she locked eyes with Carmy, they were in sync with plans to realize their vision for a fine dining establishment to the point where they completed each other’s thoughts.
