First things first, we have to make sure you have some sort of quality headphones happening. Now is as good of time as any to finally make the leap on AirPod Pros that seamlessly connect to your iPhone, Macbook or iPad, letting you listen to all your favorite music and movies. They have active noise canceling to let you enjoy your media and they’re sweat- and water-resistant so you don’t have to worry if it starts to rain. (Though inclement weather may not bode well for your flight.)

Promising review: “This is my first wireless Bluetooth earphone purchase and use. I always found them too expensive and the battery life too short to attract me. I got them at a weak moment in my usual disciplined shopping routine, but I don’t regret it. I’d been missing the use scenario utility of wearing them just before sleep, as I am in the habit of listening to audiobooks as a distractor from life’s anxieties so I can fall asleep. They’re wonderful for that! I find them comfortable to use even when lying on my side with my head on the pillow. All-in-all I’ve been pleased. I still would prefer the battery life was longer, but it isn’t an issue considering how I mostly use them. I also appreciate the seamless pairing they provide when using them with my iPad and/or iPhone. I was so satisfied I’ve decided to take the plunge and get an Apple watch! Not exactly relevant to the AirPods necessarily, but we’ll see; I may find they’re just the thing to make the watch more useful to me, assuming there is a way to pair them. At any rate, all the stars for this product. It’s a well executed design with good functionality and excellent quality. No regrets.” —Robin D
