Academy’s Undercover Professor Chapter 48 “Magic, Science and Tricks”: Recap
The mission is on, and Bellaluna uses her specialty tear gas to wreak havoc in the auction. Everyone runs to the shelter, and the guards mobilize to find anything suspicious.
Hugo and Melvin take this opportunity and mix with the crowd without being noticed. Two guards decide to guard the exit, and so Hugo asks Melvin if he can take those two out.

Hugo walks up to the guards to try and talk things out first. The guards get alert and stop Hugo from moving forward, so he tells them he’s just lost, and there’s nothing to worry about, but the guards don’t buy his lies.
While Hugo keeps them busy with his talks, Melvin gets behind them and takes them out, making sure not to kill them. Hugo contacts Kafka and Duma to report success on their part.
Kafka and Duma enter the auctioning area, where James Moriarty is already present to look over the plans.
In the midst of the auction, James finds that Caisy Selmoy, “the Celadon Green,” is also present at the auction, and he gets worried as he has gone up against her in the past, and so he knows her skills can put his mission at risk, but he decides to ignore her as she doesn’t seem to be aware of it.

In the surveillance room, two guards watch over the security artifact images to keep an eye on suspicious activities, but they get bored as no one has ever tried to break into the auction. Suddenly they notice a change in the live feed of the second room and find out that someone has dug a hole into that room.
There’s an intruder, so they alert every authority in the auction to stay sharp and mobilize all the guards. All the guards head to storage room 2 while the Artifact gets shifted to storage room 3, but as soon as the guards enter storage room 2, they find out that there are no intruders present there, which leaves everyone shocked as they figure out the reason behind the camera feed.

Everyone thinks for a long time to figure out what’s actually going on when one of them shouts that this is all a gimmick to grab the attention of security; the real target is storage room 3.
This news shocks the owner of the auction as he tries to contact the unit headed toward room 3 with the artifact. He learns that they’ve been trapped due to an elevator failure.
The guards demand they ask for the help of police, but the owner refuses as that would ruin his auction’s reputation. They try to escape the room to assist the guards but find out that they’ve been trapped by Sheridan.
Meanwhile, Kafka, Duma, Hugo, and Melvin have taken on the guard outfit and have successfully retrieved the artifact marking the mission a success.
