The Voice is a singing reality show based on the French version created by John De Mol. The first episode was released in 2012 on 25 February. The show format is about three phases which are blind audition, battle phase, and live performance. Four different coaches are celebrities from the industry.
They choose their team from the blind audition. After listening to every singer, they decide whether the singer should be on their team or not. There may be some cases in that more than one judge want one singer then the singer has the choice to select the team.
The Block, a show, now has a new twist. Each coach has three more buttons beside the large red one that has the name of another coach. The button with the name of the coach you wish to block will automatically block that coach and spin the chair if you want an artist but don’t want a rival coach to obtain that artist.

Season 1: Javier Colon
The winner of the first season in 2011 for The Voice was Javier Colon. He released an album with Adam Levine’s team titled Come Through For You in 2020 in collaboration with Universal Republic. After that, Colon joined Concord Music Group in 2014. In April 2016, he released his fourth studio album, “Gravity,” and he then went on tour.
In June 2017, the performer appeared with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra for Broadway Under the Stars in South Carolina and starred in “Big River: The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn” at Unquowa Repertory Theatre.
Season 2: Jermaine Paul
On Blake Shelton’s team, Paul won “The Voice” in 2012. He also released several singles, including “Butterfly Kisses” and “I Believe In This Life.”
“Make Love Save the World,” his debut album, was meant to be released in 2015 but has yet to be done so. Despite this, Paul has continued to perform at charitable events and places like Pennsylvania’s The Theatre at North. The year 2019 saw the release of his most recent hit, “Water.”
Season 3: Cassadee Pope
On Blake Shelton’s team, the previous lead singer of Hey Monday won season three of “The Voice” in late 2012. Since then, the country artist has continued to hold a prominent position. After releasing the EP “Summer” in 2016, she performed the “Star-Spangled Banner” at both an NFL game and the Brickyard 400 NASCAR event.
In 2019, she released “Stages,” her second studio album, and shortly after, she was the star of the CMT Next Women of Country Tour. Her most recent studio album, “Rise and Shine,” was published in 2020, and she most recently released the single “Tomorrow Night.”
Season 4: Danielle Bradbery
Bradbery, a teammate of Shelton’s, set a record for being the “Voice”‘s youngest champion at the age of 16. The country-pop singer, who signed with Big Machine Records, released her self-titled debut album in 2013 and the songs “Friend Zone” and “Sway” the following year. “Friend Zone” peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. “Sway” was released the next year.
She finally released her eagerly anticipated sophomore album, “I Don’t Believe We’ve Met,” in December 2017. She and Kurt collaborated on the songs “Never Have I Ever” and “Stop Draggin’ Your Boots,” which were released in 2021.
Season 5: Tessanne Chin
Chin found herself in the middle of a frenzy of activity and ideas following her 2013 victory on Levine’s team. Since then, Chin has released several singles, including “Oh What a Feeling” and “It’s Your Love” in 2021, as well as the 2014 album “Count On My Love.”
She and Ben Priest were scheduled to perform as the headliners of the 2021 Nigerian Reggae Festival in November.
Season 6: Josh Kaufman
At the age of 38, Kaufman won season six of “The Voice” on Usher’s team in 2014. Before being saved during the battle rounds, he was on Levine’s team.
He concluded by playing the lead in the Broadway revival of “Pippin” in 2015, and the following year he released a self-titled EP. He appeared in the Broadway production “Home For the Holidays, Live on Broadway” in 2017 and sang the national anthem at a FIFA World Cup game in Colorado.
Season 7: Craig Wayne Boyd
Boyd, a vocalist on Shelton’s team, won The Voice’s seventh season in 2014. After releasing “My Baby’s Got a Smile On Her Face,” which landed at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs list, he severed ways with Dot Records.
The second song he released was “I’m Still Here,” which was released under his imprint and reached a high position of No. 35 on the Billboard Country Digital Song Sales list. He began 2017 by joining Copperline Music Group, then put out his eagerly anticipated debut record, “Top Shelf,” to mostly positive reviews.
Season 8: Sawyer Fredericks
Fredericks, who was a member of Pharrell Williams’ team and won “The Voice” in season eight, was just 16 years old. Fredericks earned a deal with Republic Records after winning, and the following year, his album, “A Good Storm,” was made available. He declared his departure from the company and transitioned to being an independent artist in 2017.
He has traveled the entire continent and published the albums “Hide Your Ghost” in 2018 and “Flowers for You” in 2020.
Season 9: Jordan Smith
As a part of Levine’s squad, Smith won “The Voice” season nine in 2015. Just a few months later, in March 2016, he released his debut album, “Something Beautiful,” which debuted at No. 2 in the iTunes store’s charts before taking the top spot later that month. He performed at the 2016 People’s Choice Awards just months earlier.
In October of that same year, he also published the festive album “‘Tis the Season.” More recently, he released the single “Be Still and Know” in 2021 and the album “Only Love” in 2018.
Season 10: Alisan Porter
By becoming the first “Voice” contestant to triumph in 2016 with Christina Aguilera as her coach, Porter made history. The musician released her EP “I Come in Pieces” in 2017 and her LP “Pink Cloud” a year later.
Season 11: Sundance Head
Head won the voice in 2016 on Shelton’s team, years after making an appearance on “American Idol”‘s sixth season. During the show’s grand finale, his original song “Darlin’ Don’t Go,” which peaked at No. 4 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs list, was performed live.
After that, Shelton and the Zac Brown Band joined the country musician on tour. In January 2019, he issued the album “Stained Glass and Neon” on Dean Dillon’s Wildcatter Records. He has kept on touring, giving performances as recently as 2021 across the US.
Season 12: Chris Blue
Coach Alicia Keys turned her chair even though she only had one spot remaining on her team after Blue and Alicia Keys’ team won season 12 in 2017.
Before releasing his debut EP titled “Fresh Start” in 2019, he released the singles “Blue Blood Blues” and “Humanity” less than a year later. In addition, he issued “One Light,” a brief holiday record, that year. The single “Moon” by Blue was most recently released in April 2021.
Season 13: Chloe Kohanski
Kohanski, who was formerly a member of Miley Cyrus’ backing band, and Shelton, who rescued her during the knockout rounds, won the reality competition series in 2017. Since then, she has performed on “The Voice” once more for the season 14 finale and released the single “Come This Far” in May 2018.
In 2019, she dropped the single “To Be Young” from her later-released EP “Fantasy” and changed her stage name to Chloe MK, stylized in all lowercase characters. She most recently made the single “Slide” available in September 2021.
Season 14: Brynn Cartelli
Cartelli, who has coach Kelly Clarkson, won the competition in 2018 at the age of 15, becoming the youngest winner ever. She started opening for Clarkson on the 2019 Meaning of Life Tour not long after signing with Atlantic Records in late 2018.
In the succeeding seasons, Cartelli returned to the “The Voice” stage to perform her singles “Last Night’s Mascara” and “Grow Young.” The artist just released two tracks from her EP “Based on a True Story,” which was released in May 2021: “Long Way Home” and “If I Could.”
Season 15: Chevel Shepherd
In 2018, the young country singer won, giving coach Clarkson his second victory. In the future, Shepherd will likely open for artists like Lee Brice, Little Big Town, and Clarkson, among others.
Before releasing her debut EP in March 2021, she released singles including “Everybody’s Got a Story” and “Mama Got the Chair,” written by prominent country music writers Shane McAnally, Brandy Clark, and Kacey Musgraves.
She will play a role in the movie “Wildfire: The Legend of the Cherokee Ghost Horse,” which takes its title from a song by Michael Martin Murphey.
Season 16: Maelyn Jarmon
As a member of coach John Legend’s team, the folk musician Jarmon brought home the season-16 championship trophy in 2019. Jarmon has shared singing videos on TikTok ever since she won.
Season 17: Jake Hoot
Hoot and Clarkson, the only coach to turn their chair for Hoot’s blind audition, won the competition series in 2019.
Since his victory, the country singer has released several songs, including the benevolent single “Tennesse Strong,” which peaked at number 10 on the iTunes Country Singles chart. He has already been numerous times at the Grand Ole Opry and other shows across the US.
Season 18: Todd Tilghman
Tilghman, who competed on Blake Shelton’s team and won “The Voice” season 18 at the age of 42, set a record for the competition.
In 2021, the singles “In a Heartache” and “Jesus and You” came out. Since his victory, he has continued to publish singing videos on YouTube. He just revealed that in the latter half of 2021, he will tour alongside Rhett Walker.
Season 19: Carter Rubin
Rubin’s first victory as a coach came when she was only 15 years old, winning the voice on Gwen Stefani’s team. Rubin reportedly hasn’t stopped performing and creating music, according to his Instagram.
Season 20: Cam Anthony
Anthony rose to fame on YouTube with his versions of songs like Bruno Mars’s “When I Was Your Man” and John Legend’s “All of Me” before he and coach Shelton won the NBC competition in 2021.
He even spoke with talk show star Ellen Degeneres during an interview, and he won the 2018 Fox revival of “Showtime at the Apollo.” Following his recent “Voice” victory, Anthony served as the opening act for the 2021 Wawa Welcome America lineup, which included artists like Flo Rida and Bebe Rexha.
Season 21: Girl Named Tom
Girl Named Tom submitted “Helplessly Hoping” by Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young as her The Voice Season 21 audition song. The moniker was inspired by what Caleb and Joshua nicknamed Bekah when she was a newborn. Ariana Grande, John Legend, Blake Shelton, and Clarkson all turned their chairs to face the trio.
With their versions of “River” and “The Chain” dominating the iTunes Top 10 chart, they joined Team Kelly and quickly won over fans. Girl Named Tom signed a record deal with Republic Records as part of their prize from The Voice Season 21. A day after the conclusion, a song titled “No Snow for Christmas” was published.
The group then started a national tour in 2022 that featured their Grand Ole Opry debut. One More Christmas, a holiday album by GNT with four original songs and four covers, was released a few months later.
Season 22: Bryce Leatherwood
The popular reality competition series The Voice’s 22nd season was won by Bryce Leatherwood. The country singer was voted the winner during the season finale in December 2022, and since then, she has developed to produce more music and earn professional experience. Blake Shelton, who has been in the program for 11 years, participated in him and served as his coach.
Bryce is moving his music career forward from Georgia to Nashville after winning The Voice season 22. After his victory, he agreed to a record label contract with Republic Records. The singer revealed that he was currently planning his transfer and that he was putting money aside for it in an interview with Music Mayhem.
