Asobi Asobase: Chapter 122 Recap
Previously, Penpen and Tsu-chan found Neru-chan in the basement of Matsudo’s lab. Neru was caged in a glass box, and her hands were tied behind her back. Neru said that Matsudo forcibly kept her there to turn her into a tribute for Pixie sensei.
Penpen and Tsu start messing around with Matsudo’s lab and picking up his inventions, hoping to find something that will help them get Neru out of the box. Matsudo, who was observing their interaction from outside the lab, pressed the button that began filling the box with silicone.

Penpen and Neru throw a hose down for Neru, so she’s able to breathe even if she’s stuck in there. They urge her to use the ladder they threw in and get out of the box from the top. Neru is unable to do since her hands have been tied behind her. Penpen climbs into the box to help untie her hands and get her out of it.
The silicone starts filling up faster, and Tsu throws in another hose for Penpen to use and breathe from. Matsudo comes in when the box is filled to the top and releases both of them. Later, when he shows Pixie-sensei his creation, she asks him never to do something like that again.
