But like every OP manhwa MC, there is a reason to be the strongest in the world. And the reason for Jin-Woo Kim is a little different compared to all others, which makes him a step above the rest.

Dungeon Odyssey Chapter 39 had Kim being greeted by the goblins after they had learned he was the noble they had been seeking. As far as goblins go, they were pretty smart and provided great info relating to the lore of the land.
What they had intended was to make sure they had an alliance with Kim as per their leader’s orders. And for that, they took a direct and transparent approach, which impressed Kim to think of them on good terms.
The info that the goblins provided was very handy as things went as they had stated. Kim was soon greeted by monsters of other races to help them in their efforts to maintain peace. Three more races came to greet, out of which one was trying to make themselves rather than be there for peace talks.
People on Kim’s side were angry to learn that, but they had more troubling matters as they were being spied on. The spy was none other than a part of a dungeon, the lord of gluttony. He had come to track their movements and siphon information out of them.

Dungeon Odyssey Chapter 40 Spoilers
Dungeon Odyssey Chapter 40 will be a one-chapter fight between Kim and one of the dungeon lords, Uther. The slimes have been getting quite a rap these days. They are no longer the weakest monster in the monsterdom but a big threat.
Maybe Konosuba played a big role in the elevation of their status, or it was becoming too common for them to be the weakest. Hard to say. Uther is a monster that is weak to ice magic, and the initial plan provided to Kim was to freeze his entire dungeon. That way, the monster would simply just die out in his home, but Kim invited him instead.
Perhaps he was hoping that the monster wouldn’t come to him and that he would get to freeze its layer. But the dungeon lord showed up, and now Kim’s throne room is the battleground. How will he deal with this threat without damaging his place?
