Akari Nanawo (Engage Kiss, Happy Sugar Life) is performing the opening theme “Kien Romance,” which is previewed in the promotional video below. J-rock band Cody Lee performs the ending theme “Odoru Hikari.”
Takefumi Anzai (Hitoribocchi no Marumaru Seikatsu) helms the anime at C2C. Shougo Yasukawa (Shokugeki no Souma) is handling the series composition and penning the script. Takeshi Oda is designing the characters and Akito Matsuda (Hibike! Euphonium) is composing the music.
The anime adapts Akihiko Higuchi‘s slice of life comedy manga, which began serializing in Shounen Magazine Edge in June 2019. Kodansha shipped the fifth volume on November 17, with the sixth volume scheduled to release on June 16.
Seven seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English in August 2020 and will publish the fourth volume on June 28.
