Beom has finally put an end to the Ximen Clan and all their tricks in one single swoop and it was messy. After summoning many influential people like Azure Moon Sect Leader, Flame Pavilion Master, Baekhwa Manor Master, Continent Finance Manor Vice Master, Iron Society Leader and Elder Ximen Bong to reveal the true nature of the Ximen Clan. Beom trapped them in an illusion in which they fell to their deaths and they died in reality due to the insane mental pressure. Truly a horrifying death.
Heavenly Grand Archive’s Young Master Chapter 23 is just around the corner and we can expect to see the aftermath of the bloody massacre we witnessed in the last chapters. Now that Beom has dealt with the Ximen Clan, what new foes await him? And who will be the person or clan to try and claim the Heavenly Grand Archive? The manhwa is still new and so a lot more action and drama is to be expected in the upcoming chapters!
Heavenly Grand Archive’s Young Master Chapter 22: Recap
The chapter opens up with Beom Hang or The Heavenly Grand Archive’s Young Master being chased by the Ximen clan in a forest. The Ximen Patriarch stops and challenges the Heavenly Grand Archive to face off against the Ximen clan. Beom comes out of hiding while laughing and asks the Ximen Patriarch why he has murderous intent even though he sent a letter of peace via the escort agency. The Ximen Patriarch gets angry and asks Beom if he was the one responsible for his son Ximen Oong’s death.
Beom tells him that he’s free to believe whatever he wants but the truth is that Oong was killed by his very own father, the Ximen Patriarch to put the blame on the Heavenly Grand Archive. The Ximen Patriarch tells Beom that he can say anything he wants as this would be the end of him which makes Beom curious as he asks if the Ximen Clan intends to end the Heavenly Grand Archive during the night. He tells the Ximen Patriarch that he knows that they want to take the possession of Heavenly Grand Archive after attacking them in the name of Black Troupe.
The Ximen Patriarch pulls out his sword while commending Beom’s intelligence but he won’t let him live long enough now. Suddenly another voice comes from behind Beom and the Azure Moon Sect Leader comes out saying that he didn’t expect The Ximen Patriarch to be this harsh with words but he’s happy that he would be able to see his sword techniques in person. The Ximen Clan soldiers get scared and suddenly two more people come out of hiding this time it’s the Flame Pavilion Master and Baekhwa Manor Master and they both also show their sadness at such rudeness from the Ximen Clan.
Continent Finance Manor Vice Master and Iron Society Leader also reveal themselves along with Elder Ximen Bong. The Ximen Patriarch gets stunned to see Ximen Bong after he chased him out of the land to gain true authority. So many strong and influential people have gathered at the request of Beom and so he asks the Ximen Patriarch to kneel before anything bad happens to him but he refuses. He replies that even though he’s amazed by this sight, he didn’t come empty-handed while facing the Heavenly Grand Archive.
The Ximen Patriarch asks his soldiers to prepare the thunder crash bomb and announces that no matter how incredible the Heavenly Grand Archive fortress may be, it still won’t be able to stand against thousands of thunder crash bombs which are capable of turning two pavilions to ashes with just one bomb. Beom doesn’t get scared and instead congratulates the Ximen Patriarch for at least putting up a fight when suddenly the ground beneath the Ximen clan starts to crumble.
The Ximen Clan as a whole falls into a bottomless pit as they all shout for their lives. Little do they know that it’s all an illusion. All the people witnessing this sight couldn’t help but get amazed by this. After some time all the Ximen clan members die and the ones still surviving are put down on Beom’s orders.
