It seems as if the main character is fighting for some screentime in the latest updates of Heavenly Inquisition Sword, but anyways the action and suspense are still at their peak during the green forest grand summit. In the previous chapters, we saw a direct disciple of one of the demon generals get defeated in a single blow by a lowly chief which was a truly shocking sight for the readers and the audience in the manhwa.
The Yoomyung cult has started making moves with their first victory. Aiming to use their demonic warriors, the Yoomyung cult would turn the green forest into a warzone to defeat all the 12 demon generals. Meanwhile, our main character is left out of the loop as he roams around in the forest with the mysterious girl he met. The mysterious is also revealed to be a disciple of the Heaven-Destroying Demon Lord, and so we await some display of action from her too.
Heavenly Inquisition Sword Chapter 48 is going to be released soon, and the fans still await some more screen time from the main character. We can expect some more action to happen in the upcoming chapters, too, as the green forest and Yoomyung cult prepare to clash. How will this battle turn out? And will our protagonist prepare in time to protect everyone?
Heavenly Inquisition Sword Chapter 47: Recap
The chapter opens up with Red Eye getting treated by his master after he got brutally defeated in his duel with the Daebyeol Stronghold Chief Lee Mujin. The Heaven Destroying Demon Lord circulates the energy of Red Eye, which makes him feel better, and so he tells his master how ashamed he is. The other disciples ask their master why he circulated the energy of Red Eye instead of leaving it to them, and so he replies that his subordinates don’t even have the energy to use in their duels and have to rely on others for help so he can’t just let them waste their energy while he is overflowing with it.
All the disciples bow their heads in shame. The Heaven Destroying Demon Lord tells them that he has other reasons too for circulating Red Eye’s energy personally, and that is he wanted to check something through Red Eye’s damaged energy. Red Eyes asks his master if he’s referring to the Daebyeol Stronghold Chief’s identity and says that even though he’s too embarrassed to say it but there was something Mysterious and spine-chilling about the soul-extracting blood Swordsman martial arts Lee Mujin used during their duel.
One of the disciples says that it’s been years since the Daebyeol Stronghold was in line with them, and so they must know what the green summit means to them. For this reason, their chief stepping up to fight and defeat Red Eye in front of everyone is not something that should be taken lightly. Another disciple argues that to be able to deliberately get in the way of green forest’s ambassador, Lee Mujin, must be crazy. Another disciple says that the five orthodox sects must be behind this and are using underhanded tricks to keep the green forest in check.
The Heaven Destroying Demon Lord asks everyone to stay quiet and stop arguing over such things. He shows everyone the energy he gathered from Red Eye, and it turns into a venomous spider which shocks everyone. The Demon Lord says that there’s only one group in the mum who could do such things, and that is the demonic cult, “Yoomyung cult.” The focus then shifts to the base of the Yoomyung cult, where the leader of the cult receives the report that Lee Mujin has succeeded by defeating the disciple of the Heaven-Destroying Demon Lord.
4 other demonic warriors are also scheduled to make an entrance in the upcoming fights. The cold-blooded sword demon, the shadow slaughterer, The Dong River stronghold, and Yangtze solitary demon are those four. The Yoomyung cult intends to beat the 12 demonic generals through the 12 demonic warriors.
The Heaven Destroying Demon Lord boils with anger thinking that the Yoomyung cult wants to use the green forest as an attack base when he suddenly shouts for Ryeoshi. One of the subordinates says that she disappeared in between the fuels, and so the demo lord orders everyone to go out and look for her. Meanwhile, Ryeoshi makes her way inside the stronghold of Yeon, which annoys everyone.
