Good Trouble is a spin-off drama series of the original show, The Fosters. The show, created by Joanna Johnson and Peter Paige, released its first season on January 8th, 2019, and has recently launched its fifth season on March 16th, 2023. The show follows the lives of Callie and Mariana starting their adult lives in Los Angeles, picking up a few years after the original show’s timeline.
The show takes us into the adult lives of Callie and Mariana Adams Foster in Los Angeles. The two move into a new apartment building called, The Coterie where Collie is now an assistant to a judge and Mariana works as a software engineer. The show is a peek into their daily life and the struggles they come across as new adults.
Good Trouble has Cierra Ramirez in the role of an MIT graduate, a software engineer, and Callie’s sister, Mariana Adams Foster. Maia Mitchell plays the role of Callie, Mariana’s adopted sister. Zuri Adele is in the show as one of the neighbors at the Coterie, Malika Williams. Sherry Cola as Alice Kwan plays the role of the building manager at The Coterie.
The show over its five seasons has managed to find for itself a wide cast of talented actors playing different roles. The show touches on the daily troubles of the lives of gen z through a comedic and light approach. Overall Good trouble has managed to garner a positive response from its viewers.

Good Trouble Season 5: The Plotline
Fully settled into their adult lives, the two main leads along with twenty-five-something residents of the Coterie. They continue to face relationship issues and different career opportunities. The residents lean on each other and find comfort in each other’s presence as they navigate through life.
The first two episodes of the show have been released till now and a lot has happened in the apartment buildings. Davia and Dennis, two lovebirds of the Coterie, are fully immersed in their relationship and enjoying their honeymoon period. While they are busy being in love, Alice, another resident of the building struggles to maintain her job while trying to find a new one with the help of a friend, Sumi.
Callie makes a comeback to the Coterie to provide support to her sister, Mariana while Gael tries his best to search for his child and hir partner, Isabella. Trouble knocks at Coterie’s doorstep when an anonymous person, also a resident at the Coterie, submits a complaint against the other residents.
This obviously does not settle well with the residents and they, especially Alice try to figure out who the complainant could be. Luca, another loved resident, tries to dig into his past to find his true identity.
