In a cannabis-growing farm in southern Oregon, Jim Belushi with the Discovery Channel team has once again started his journey on the program, Growing Belushi. The show follows the life of actor Jim Belushi, famous for his appearance in Saturday Night Live, Total Security, and the popular sitcom, According To Jim, and his cannabis business.
The show aired its first season in the year 2020 and is now all set for a fourth installment. Actor Jim has claimed that the show is not just for mere entertainment but also for education purposes, on how cannabis is grown and maintained.
The show gives the audience a glimpse into Jim’s cannabis business, his team of farmers, and the mistakes that he makes while on the way to making his cannabis a nationally known brand. We see how Jim does his best trying to make something out of a combination of his creative skills and his business skills.
The show stars Chris karakosta, Jim’s cousin, Dan Aykroyd, a comedian and his partner, and Jim’s unorganized team of farmers apart from Jim, himself. The previous season saw him trying to get a breakthrough into the cannabis market at a higher level, but this season has some more serious trouble ready to knock his will down.
Growing Belushi Season 4: The Plotline
With Growing Belushi, Jim is trying not only to expand his business to an even bigger scale but also spread awareness about legalized marijuana and its positive effects. Season fourth of the show has in store big problems in the way of Jim’s cannabis business.
We see that his farm has caught fire and Jim has lost five hundred thousand dollars worth of cannabis with no way of knowing if it was an outsider’s job or an insider at work. While the police try to figure out if it was some of Jim’s acting days haters, a neighborhood crime that just happened to take place on his farm, or something more evil, Jim and his team of farmers try their best to make do with what is left.
Jim is under pressure to produce five hundred thousand dollars worth of cannabis in a span of ten days. His plans of gradually spreading his business into the market have to be put on hold. These big problems still do not manage to stop Jim from making rash decisions and mistakes that will clearly hurt his business.
