Recently, comedian Tess Tregellas posted a clip of her stand-up where she showed how, depending on someone’s age, they would finish the song lyric “Hey now…” differently.
Some people completed the lyric with “You’re an all star” by Smash Mouth; others sang “Hey now” from The Lizzie McGuire Movie; and then some people followed up with a different “Hey now” from the 1986 song “Don’t Dream It’s Over” by Crowded House.
This had me wondering, are there any other one-, two-, three-, or four-word combinations that could have a similar effect?
