In the last chapter, we saw Miku suffering from a fever, and so Yukiya decided to take care of her until she got better. We also get to know that their misunderstandings regarding the Pokitto games have been cleared out, which is a good thing to know.
Chapter 29 begins with Yukiya checking up on Miku, who is still bedridden, about her well-being. Yukiya puts his hand on Miku’s head, and she blushes as if she has never felt this different feeling from Yukiya’s touch.

The Next day, Miku completely recovers and returns to school. Her friends and other students in the class are excited to see her. Her friends ask her if something happened between her and Yukiya as they spent a few days together, but Miku gets flustered and instantly denies it.
Yukiya pretends to sleep, but soon the whole class starts to make up things about him and Miku which makes him embarrassed and angry. Some students consider that they are dating, while some believe that it’s not possible, and some even go as far as to say that Miku would end up with them just because she laughed at their jokes.

She decides that she will make a cake for Yukiya, but her friend suggests that she makes something traditional.
Miku remembers that Yukiya likes Daifuku, so she would make it for him. She blushes just at the thought of her cooking with him. After school ends, Miku visits Yukiya with the ingredients. Yukiya is puzzled by this sudden appearance of Miku.
She tells him that it’s her way of thanking him for taking care of her. She also says that Moshi tests better if it’s made fresh, so she decided to make it at home. Yukiya agrees to go along with her, and so she opens a recipe video to start making the sweets.

Yukiya gets too close to Miku, and so she gets flustered by it. She gets frozen and misses a few points of the recipe, but Yukiya corrects her. Both of them make their own Moshi, and in the end, Yukiya makes a bigger Moshi than Miku.
He hands over one of his Moshi to Miku to show her the size, but she starts to blush when her hand touches his hand, so he decides not to do it. Miku prepares a plate with two Moshi with Sakura and Asagi colors.
Yukiya instantly realizes that she’s trying to represent both of them as sweets. He says that if the sakura-coloured Moshi is supposed to be Miku, then he should try it to see what it tastes like after Yukiya eats the Moshi. Miku gets embarrassed and leaves the room. She also realizes that something is off with her.
