Black Friday is still a few days away, but Affordable Mobiles is offering shoppers an early opportunity to bag a 2022 iPhone SE (64GB) with 100GB of data from Three – plus unlimited minutes and texts – for just £22/mth for 24 months. Plus, there’s nothing to pay upfront. That means the total cost over the life of the contract is just £528.
That’s mightily impressive and gets more appealing when you dissect the stellar saving on offer. Currently, it will cost you £419 to buy the iPhone SE outright. Combine that with Three’s 24-month sim-only 100GB plan, and the total cost without the deal is £755. That means you can save a whopping £227 by jumping on this offer.
Whilst the iPhone SE isn’t Apple’s most advanced smartphone and comes with its share of minor issues, it provides an affordable option for users wanting to stay within the Apple ecosystem and looking to upgrade on a budget. It got a big thumbs up from us in our iPhone SE 3 review for its speedy A15 Bionic processor and a great camera, packaged in a neat exterior.
The highlight of the iPhone SE is the impressive A15 Bionic processor, a component it shares with the more expensive iPhone 13 models and one that gives it a serious leg-up in terms of performance over similarly priced competitors. Its 12-megapixel camera also provides better picture quality than its comparable android rivals, with the iPhone SE consistently capturing detailed images with great colour balance. Overall, there’s a lot to like about the iPhone SE, provided you can live with the underwhelming battery life and “sluggish” 60Hz refresh rate.
In our recent Three mobile network review, we praised it as a highly reliable provider with exceptional 4G and improving 5G coverage. It also comes highly recommended by its existing subscribers relative to its competitors. It may no longer be the gold standard in terms of providing value for money, but that isn’t something to worry about considering the huge savings on offer with this deal.
