The anime adapts Akutami Gege‘s supernatural action sequel manga which began serialization in Weekly Shounen Jump in March 2018. Shueisha shipped the 22nd volume on March 3.
VIZ Media simulpubs the manga digitally with the Japanese release through its Shounen Jump service and shipped the 19th volume on March 21. The Shueisha’s Manga Plus platform also began simulpublishing the manga in English in January 2019.
