Now US Users can send money to users in India & Singapore

Viola Gauci, Google Pay Product Manager published the news that G Pay users in the US will be able to send money to Google Pay users in India and Singapore. To overcome the financial anxiety during this pandemic situation, this step will help many users. The company has partnered with Western Union and Wise, both of which have integrated their service into G Pay.

Google also announced that by end of the year, Google Pay users in the US will be able to send money to people in more than 200 countries and territories through Western Union and to more than 80 countries through wise.

Send Money Internationally Through G Pay

Just like you send money with other people you can send money internationally by searching people in G Pay app and Tap the person to whom you want to send money. From there you simply follow the steps to complete the payment either by Western Union or Wise. Google also added that From now until June 16, Wester Union will offer unlimited free transfers through G Pay, while Wise will the first transfer free for new customers on transfer up to $500.

Google Added, “Every year, people around the world send nearly $700 billion to friends and relatives in their home countries, which pay for essential expenditures like healthcare, education, bills, and more. According to a recent Mastercard study, 73% of people regularly send money abroad. However, in the last year, 38% of people surveyed reported greater involvement in international payments”.
