When Na-Kyum was confronted with this knowledge by a doctor, he outright refused and called the doctor a liar. Seunghoo realized something was wrong but only nodded to the practitioner and went home. And after returning to the estate, he asked those in the living quarters about Na-Kyum’s behavior. Learning Na-Kyum had been suffering all this while, but hiding it from him.
Then there was the matter of Seunghoo’s father being involved and one of his workers spying on his son.
