He then put the entire incident out of his mind.

Recap

The scene of a shootout received a call from SWAT. Two guys were fighting over cash while shooting at each other. One of the men helped the other in some way. He provided an envelope. He was supposed to be paid for what he did, and as the other gentleman turned to leave, the person demanding payment pulled a gun.

He asked for his money. While his companion started firing at the opposing man, the man with the luggage threw the luggage at him. It rapidly turned into a firefight. They shot both attackers. When they noticed officers arriving, one of them even took a hostage. The other shooter was killed, and SWAT had to kill their captive taker.

Three people were, however, directly engaged in this mess. The third man escaped with the folder he refused to pay for. It turned out that this guy’s friend was an Indian national whom Interpol wanted. He and his companion caught up with Mason Crowley, an established assassin with military connections.

He was a retired naval intelligence officer. Crowley handed over a file with names on it. Additionally, the subdirectory was still active. SWAT concluded that the assassins were on the lookout for someone. They were paid to murder this individual, and Crowley assisted them in return for payment. Crowley owed a lot of money.

Since being expelled from the Navy, he has worked for independent contractors. He was employed by a business named “Ambercaz.” They were PMCs of benevolence. The media covering the Ukrainian War were recently removed. These were individuals that Crowley betrayed because they were the ones who entered after the US military deemed it to be too risky.

There wasn’t just a single hitman left. Only four assassins were left at this juncture because he arrived with a group of people. However, SWAT arrived too late to safeguard one of the list’s victims. Koss Matias was his given name.

Five years ago, he left the service at his wife’s urging, but he hadn’t informed her that, not long after, he joined Ambercaz. He was unable to leave his past behind completely. He took part in an operation that resulted in a bounty being placed on his head because he still needed to play the hero.

Koss underwent torment before being killed. The information they sought from Koss was not provided. Instead of endangering the real objective, he decided to commit suicide. Commander Hicks had the idea to alert Ambercaz by this time. And he requested names.

He warned the business that there was an amount on the heads of their men using the son of a former associate of his. When he inquired about Koss’s assignment, he was informed that it was classified. Ambercaz was still blind to the threat they were facing. Additionally, none of Koss’s colleagues or friends had been warned.
