Chigarashi can’t seem to catch a break from all the horrible things happening in her life. From ghosts to serial killers, now we have a mysterious gamer who threatens to attack her. Makube also can’t seem to stay in peace and search for his mentor because if Chigarashi is in trouble, then he would be in trouble too.
She has submitted yet another damage report to him and demanded his help. Everyone thought the damage report was resolved and that zer0ex, the mysterious gamer, was no longer a foe. But that was all proven wrong on the last page of Chapter 29.
It’s been a week since the last chapter was released on February 27, 2023, and now it’s time for Scary Campus College University Chapter 30, and we can hope for it to unravel the mysteries surrounding this new threat causing a ruckus in the town. The summer break is here, and Chigarashi gets really bored because she lives alone and she can’t interact with many people because of the paranormal activities happening around her. She decides to take this opportunity to improve herself and her future. She thinks back to how Makube appreciated her once for how she tries to save everyone, and so she wants to get even better at it.

Everyone knows how Chigarashi is. She starts studying believing that she’ll study until she becomes the best student, but she loses motivation and starts playing games. She discovers a new game and starts playing it every night, and of course, she is the worst player in that too. She loses several times in a row and gets angry.
She decides not to quit and keeps playing in hopes that she will win at least once, but all her efforts are for nothing. Due to a random burst of motivation, Chigarashi decides that she will join e-sports and become the best gaming player (yes, she forgot about being the best student). She uses her credit card and buys many in-game items to turn the tide and become a strong player.
She keeps on spending money and starts winning even more games and also gets many appreciations from other players. A player named zer0ex calls Chigarashi a cheater, and so she challenges him for a rematch and wins.
This anger zer0ex, and he threatens Chigarashi that he will get payback on her. Other players make fun of him, and Chigarashi blocks him. After a long gaming session, she reaches the limit of her card because of spending so much, and so she decides to go out and buy some gift cards along with dinner.
While walking on the streets, she finds the logo of zer0ex on the electricity poles. She doesn’t understand what’s happening, and so she runs towards her house, but she finds out that even her stairs and door are covered with the same logo.
She receives a notification, and it’s a message from zer0ex despite him being blocked. Scared by these threats, Chigarashi visits Makube again to ask for his help. He advises her to report this to the police, but it fails as they take such threats very lightly. Makube asks Chigarashi to show him the game.
He tells her that he already knows everything about it and demonstrates to her that she could’ve won without spending so much. He unequips all the items and defeats zer0ex once again, forcing him to stop threatening Chigarashi.
Chigarashi is shocked and offended by how good Makube is when she has to spend so much time and money to get even close to being this good. She lashes out and says she will become better than him someday and walks away. Meanwhile, in a different part of town, a random gamer has just won a Mahjong game against zer0ex.

Zer0ex calls him a cheater, but that guy calls him a sore loser and insults him. The last page of the manga shows a mysterious man standing behind that guy with a gun in his hand, and we all realize how dangerous zer0ex truly is.
