Siren: Survive the Island Season 2 release date is what fans are expecting to know more of. The series served as a Korean competition reality TV series that showed some of the strongest women in the country. Netflix had commissioned the episodes for their service, and it is safe to say that they were a huge hit. Often when both genders, that is, male and female, are present, we only see women providing an intellectual aspect to the games rather than a physical one. It is not true for always, but it happens.

But here, as we saw women taking the lead in both physical and physiological parts of the rounds, we were really thrilled to have seen the sides. The competition took place on a remote island where the contestants stayed and played for seven days. The process of elimination also took place regularly, where we saw teams getting eliminated one by one until the very last team was left.
Back at the end of Siren: Survive the Island Season 1, we saw that Team Athletes were the winners. They were constantly in alliance with Team Firefighters when it required them to. This made them aware of the strengths and weaknesses of the other team and adapt to the situation in the end accordingly.
Members of this team were Leader Kim Hee Jeong, Kim Seong Yeon, Kim Min Sun, and Kim Eun Byul. They were the last ones standing. The series was pretty interesting to watch and even made us realize how every profession has struggles of its own, and being in a stereotypically male-dominated industry, it is even hard for women to shine.
Siren: Survive the Island Season 2 Renewal Status
As of right now, Siren: Survive the Island Season 2 is not renewed. Netflix takes into account various factors before it agrees to greenlight a series for a second run. These factors include the reaction of the audience, or the viewer count in general. It has to surpass a certain number so that the officials know it is to watch worthy.
Also, the revenue is a big unit. The show should generate enough money for the platform to keep profits and reinvest for the second season. Given the fact that the episodes have only recently ended, there is still time for Netflix to make a decision.
