According to the results, Microsoft Outlook is the highest rated email app in 46 countries. Even though Microsoft Outlook came into the game a little later than other email apps. Yahoo Mail is liked by Australia, Japan and the USA. Released in 1997 for desktop and 2010 for mobile, Yahoo has 7.22 million reviews on Google Play with an average rating of 4.5 stars. Now talking about messaging apps, AOL Instant Messenger (AIM) had 53 million users in 2006 which were even more than users of Google, Microsoft and Yahoo combined. When it comes to social networking platforms, Instagram was the first app which made visual content somewhat known in 2010. It was the first iOS mobile app and first mobile only platform and soon became more popular than Facebook, YouTube, Tumblr and Twitter. In its first year, Instagram got 10 million users and became the most downloaded app in 2023, surpassing TikTok. Even with all these achievements, Instagram isn’t the most loved app– TikTok is.
