In episode 20, Tae Kyung tells Yeon Do to break their contract and get back to their life as before. Whereas Tae Kyung feels guilty for not telling his true feelings to Yeon, Do before breaking up.
Meanwhile, in the house, Tae Kyung’s older brother and her wife, and her step-grandmother decide to kick out Yeon Do and Tae Kyung from the house so that they can’t inherit anything. It was seen her Tae Kyung’s older sister is also against staying with Tae Kyung and her pregnant wife, Yeon Do, for fear of losing the shares in the company.
Tae Kyung’s mother senses the threat to Tae Kyung by her siblings and step-grandmother. She calls Yeon Do to do something and stop Tae Kyung from leaving the house and being treated as a left out.
Yeon Do drags Tae Kyung home and yells at all of his siblings and step-grandmother for treating Tae Kyung as a left out for his whole life. She made a declaration until, and unless all his siblings and his step-grandmother didn’t say sorry to him and treat him better, she and Tae Kyung would not leave the house.
This brings Yeon Do and Tae Kyung closer to each other. And in the end, we saw Tae Kyung finally revealing her true feelings to Yeon-Do.
