This Star is the story of a young prince who was adopted by a kind family of an enemy Kingdome. After losing his entire family in one night, Bie Tang was obviously depressed. It was so bad that the boy didn’t utter one word for over one and a half years. However, his step-parents never lost hope. They kept showering him with kindness till he was ready to open up to them on his own.
His step-parents are from the country of Xuan Yan. They were attacked by The Yanye and were conquered. What followed was a massacre of its people, with a few being chosen as slaves. Bie Tang belongs to Yanye, as can be determined from his bright red hair. The couple has two other sons and another baby on the way. The second son is He Ruo Xing Nuo.

He asks him whether he has any idea who his Adoptive father and brothers really are.
The Heruo family was one of the most influential families in all of Xuan Yan. But his adoptive father, Heruo She Gui, is not from the main Heruo family. He belongs to a distant branch that cannot even be listed on the official Family Tree. His status does not reflect that of the Heruo family. However, in exchange for status and power, he sacrificed his oldest son.
He sent his son to be trained as an assassin who would then work for influential people. It was only due to his son’s services he was able to attain recognition within the family. Furthermore, he adds that the plan to save him from Bai Mo was initiated by the people from the main family. They established several hidden checkpoints along the way in the northern lands.

Furthermore, the sword that is with Bie Tang is a treasure that belongs to the Heruo family. How can someone that is not part of the main family come into possession of this tressure?
After listening to what he had to say, Bie Tang started to laugh. He tells him that just because his family was horrible to him does not mean that everyone’s family is like that too. He tells him that the love he felt from his adoptive family is one that cannot be faked. It is true that She Gui had several secrets. This leads to a tussle between them, and they accidentally fall down the mountainside.

The last chapter left us with a lot more questions than answers. We now know the real lineage, She Gui. But it is not clear if it can be trusted or not. But at the same time, it had too many details that seemed impossible to fake. Bie Tang did not believe not one word that was said. That is a little naive of him, but he is loyal to them. They did save him from certain doom at their own expense.
Whatever he said cannot be forgotten that quickly. If what he said was true, then that would mean the only reason he took in Bie Tang was to use him just like he did to Xing Heng. If so, then what is his endgame? It should be revealed in future episodes. The note about the Silver Aria is also alarming. How did She Gui come across the family treasure if he wasn’t included in the said family?
