The recent chapter opens up from where we left off in the previous one with John and Sera, where John wonders how can NXGen can do something like that. Sera says that they are sourcing it from a subject, but she only got a quick glance. Someone called Jane thinks that is keeping her in one of their facilities.
After hearing her name, John thinks that he might know someone with that name and asks Sera if they have any pictures of her where she is able to see what she looks like. Sera explains that the girl has long white hair, with brown eyes, with this John remembers that this can’t happen and says that his mom’s name is Jane, although she doesn’t remember much about her, she left him when he was young, but he has seen photos of her, and she also has white hairs and brown eyes.
When Sera asks hi, that did he know her reason for leaving, John declines and says that his dad hardly even mentioned her. It is a sore spot for him; he didn’t even have an idea of what her ability was until he discovered how to use his, she is obviously really strong, and his dad is powerless, that is why John always thought that she left them because they weren’t good enough for her.

Later John adds that if Sera really saw her in the facility, then he has no idea what is going on, but to be honest, John wonders what the chances are that it is actually her and not any other white-haired lady and thinks that it might be some coincidence.
Later in the chapter, we see John’s father outside someone’s house, and when he tries to enter, one of the owner’s servants says that the mister does not wish to see anyone at the moment, but when he says that he will be quick, it will not take much time, and it is urgent, she accepts and let him in. When he enters the living room, William gets really amazed at seeing the interior and thinks that how only one person can use this much space by himself.
Later we find out that the person he has visited is Cameron, who when arrives, asks William why he is hearing and what he wants. William says that he needs his help, but on the other hand, Cameron shouts at the servants and reminds her that he did tell her not to let anyone inside, and he does not want to see him again there and asks her to show him out.
When Cameron was just about to leave, William says that he must wait and listen to him because he has something to tell him that is related to his sister, Jane. Cameron says that he cannot fool him by gaining sympathy with his sister’s name; she cut ties with him decades ago, and whatever she does now is none of his business anymore.
