Travis Herzog Has once again made the headlines, and now it is not for good reasons. Recently we got the news that he is suffering from some health insurgency and his health is not keeping well.

Travis has been working for the KTRK TV channel since 2006. He is the most-known face on the channel and is also the chief meteorologist largest for them. It is not wrong to say that he’s the face of the channel, and people love watching him only on TV.

What Happened To Travis Herzog?

Travis Herzog is a chief meteorologist that has won an Emmy Award and appears on ABC 13. He seems to be off from the show for a few days, and the viewers are curious to know what made him take this step.

He informed his fans on his Facebook account that he won’t be appearing for a few days and that this was related to his health condition. It was not something that he had not expected, yet it was a bad experience for him.

Travis Herzog is suffering from a health condition where he is recommended by his doctors to rest for a few days and not do any work.  He was on his station only when the symptoms became visible, and he was taken to a medical emergency. 

He revealed that for the past few days, he has been feeling supraventricular tachycardia. This is a medical condition in which a person’s heartbeat suddenly changes to abnormality, and it increases to a level data is generally not a good sign of health. 

 While he was at the station, his condition became abnormal, and then he was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital, where he received help from the doctor, and his heartbeat was made to resort to normalcy.

After he was admitted to the hospital, his viewers took to various social networking sites to send him prayers and wish him a speedy recovery. First up, some of the fans also wrote about how they miss him at the station and want him to come back to the show soon.

In place of Travis, David Tillman, who is the chief forecaster for the station, took his place and filmed the telecast. Up to now, we do not have any information about if he will be joining back the broadcast soon or discontinuing.

All of us, including his viewers, can just spray for a speedy recovery and hope that he comes back to the station soon.

Who is Travis Herzog?

Travis joined KTRK TV in 2006, and since then, he is still the best broadcaster that they have and is even honored with the title of broadcaster of the year from the National Weather Association.

Apart from this, he has also won the best weathercast word in Texas from Associated Press. He is a meteorologist that covers not just one disaster but has expertise in numerous. You will hear him talk about tornadoes, floods, hurricanes, and ice storms.

Besides this, he also visits local schools to tell them about safety and how to manage disasters and advice on weather safety so that it could help to reduce the anxiety of the students and, at the same time, empower them so that they can make the right choices at the time of weather changes.
