As every warrior must be, he too is a man full of a sense of honor who traveled across Ancient China. He being a skilled mercenary, helps him make a living with his sword.

The story emulges when one day, Dāomǎ accepts a paid escort mission. Which warrior would say no to fights and missions? Our protagonist, Dao Ma, agrees to the mission and now has to travel to the capital city of Chang’an.

Dao Ma is now an escort. And escorts are those warriors who get paid to take out the targets wanted by the government, which means an official mission. Aren’t you curious about why Dao Ma accepted this offer and is agreeing to move to the capital city of Chang’an?

Dao Ma has debts to pay off. He owes to a man who goes by the name Mo. Mo had taken care of Dao Ma and his only child, Xiao Qi, when no one did. But on the way back to Mo’s town, they face a victim of the ‘rakshasa’ – demons that eat humans.

As important as the storyline and visuals are, the important voices and dialogues carry rather than them. Without fun expressions in the dialogue, it would have been a very boring series without capturing audiences and wanting to watch more.

Starting off with the main leads, we have Dao Ma. Taking center stage, he is a wandering warrior reminiscent of the samurai characters found in Japanese anime who follow his adventures across ancient China.

With his smart wit, Dao Ma impresses everyone around him, but not any less is our second main lead, Ayuya, voiced by Hyoujin. The Cast and Crew have been selected by the Director and have been doing justice to all their roles as of now.
