One of the ideas he discusses with his friend is how the kidnapping is a flawed plan, as he said himself in the later part of the scheme. Of course, he can bring the little one to his sect by kidnapping, but the kid is smart and devoted to the sect.
This means he will have to be persuaded by words instead, a task that might prove to be heavy for him. But his friends aren’t worried about that since they took it upon themselves to scout him for themselves. Although, we know that they are bound to fail in this little quest of theirs as the little kid is much wiser than them.
