Spiderman was created as a fictional superhero comic book character originated by Steve Ditko and Stan Lee to feature in Marvel Comics. Spiderman was first aired in 1977 as a television series in which the protagonist was Peter Parker/ Spiderman, played by Nicholas Hammond. The first theatrical movie of the television series was released in 1978 with Shinji Todō as Spiderman/ Takuya Yamashiro. The copyrights of the character were acquired by Sony in 1999, and that was the beginning of the world’s most favorite frictional superhero character, ‘Spiderman.’
Sony soon created a trilogy series with the character Spiderman trilogy from 2002-2007, with Tobey Maguire as the lead character Spiderman / Peter Parker, directed by Sam Raimi. The series was an absolute blast and the beginning of the world of the Spiderman franchise. The sequel to the Spiderman trilogy was the Amazing Spiderman movie series which consisted of two movies with Andrew Garfield in the leading role of Spiderman.
Sony shared its Spiderman movie rights with Disney and Marvel Studios, which made the debut of Spiderman in the Marvel Universe. Tom Holland played the role of Spiderman in Marvel movies. Further, he decided that Holland would become the lead main character for Spiderman’s fourth MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) movie. The Spiderman franchise earned over $9.8 billion worldwide, with Far From Home as the first Spiderman film to gross over $1 billion, followed by No Way Home.
Sony eventually announced its first animated Spiderman movie in 2015, released as Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse on December 1, 2018, directed by Rodney Rothman, Bob Persichetti, and Peter Ramsey, starting Morales as Shameik Moore. Created with a budget of $90 million, the Oscar-winning Saga Spiderman: Into the Spider-Verse collected over $384.3 million.

In this most anticipated film, “Spiderman: Across the Spider-Verse,” the next chapter of the epic Spider-Verse Saga, Miles Morales, the only friendly neighborhood Spiderman of Brooklyn, returns to the big screen. The movie begins with Miles, a little grown up and more confident, reuniting with Gwen Stacy, another Spider-Person from another universe.
He gets catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a group of Spider-People who are responsible for protecting the Multiverse from threats. A new threat loom over them. But as they work together to handle it, their opinions clash, causing a rift between them. Miles finds himself at odds with the other Spider-People, but he knows he must do everything he can to save the people he loves. In doing so, he must redefine what it means to be a hero and make difficult decisions.

So, the all-new computer-based animated movie is set to release on June 2, 2023, with large production and a hyped-up audience to hit the theatres and global box office. But in my opinion, Spider-Man can never go down because Spider-Man has been a superhero for many of us.
