First Love, Lasting Hate Chapter 9 is the next for the series, and things are getting a little dramatic as new characters and relationships are being explored in the series.
The main focus of this story is on Kang Eunga and her Elementary school bully, Ha Seungmin, but it turns out she’s not the only one who has these horrors, as even Heeju got in trouble in the last chapter.
Talking about the last chapter of First Love, Lasting Hate, the chapter was hyped because the readers finally got a glimpse of Seungmin’s true strength, even though he has changed a lot now.
This revelation is both good and bad, as there are still mysteries surrounding Seungmin. Why did he change so much?
First Love, Lasting Hate Chapter 8: Recap
The chapter opens up with Eunha returning after ruining her blind date. She feels a bit sad because everyone else’s dates went great while her date was completely ruined. She thinks that maybe she’s undesirable and so she can’t get into a relationship even once in her life.
The cute guy approaches Eunha and explains that he’s not a weirdo and that he just wants to get to know Eunha. Eunha gets puzzled because everything happened so fast, but she still gives her number to the guy because why not.
The guy reveals his name as “Ryu Seonhoo” and walks away. He texts Eunha to tell her to get home safely. Eunha gets excited because Ryu looks hot and also because she finally got a date.
She starts thinking that it’s a bit suspicious for someone that hot to just ask for her number, but she decides to ignore it as she can just end the conversation with him anytime.
Eunha just stares at the one text sent by Ryu and wonders what she should reply with; she eventually decides to ask for some advice from her friends. Meanwhile, outside the coffee shop, Heeju gets cornered by the strange guy(let’s call him this) who appeared in the last chapter.
The Strange Guy tells Heeju that he thought she had feelings for him when they spent so much time together, but now she’s asking him to stop talking to her.
Heeju clarifies that she only asked for him to end their relationship because it’s hard for her to be in contact with him all day long. The Stange guy says that she has been leading him on all this time, but now she’s saying there’s nothing in between them.
Heeju says that it’s not like that and that she only talked to him because he was the only person from her department in the club, and he always started the conversations.
Heeju says that she only sees him as a good friend, which makes him even more angry. The Strange guy tells her that she should have told him earlier about it, and then he slaps Heeju when she tries to talk back. He says that if she didn’t flirt with Seungmin, then all this wouldn’t have happened.
Heeju says that Seungmin is nothing but a coworker and a good friend, and everything else is just his imagination.
The Strange Guy gets even more angry, and he grabs Heeju’s hand. Suddenly, Seungmin comes in and pushes the guy away from Heeju. Seungmin gets punched in the face by the strange guy because he believes that he and Heeju got into this situation because of him.
The Strange guy asks Seungmin if he’s cheating on Eunha because he saw them flirting back in the music room.
This taunt becomes the last nail in the coffin for Seungmin as he clenches his fist and punches the other guy so hard he ends up 2 feet away in a dumpster.
Seungmin then picks up his glasses and states that he mistakenly punched so hard because he couldn’t control his strength.
