A new set of Hollywood A-Listers will be returning this week with fresh episodes of the HGTV show Celebrity IOU. The series involves our very own Property Brothers, Drew, and Jonathan Scott, teaming up with various celebs to surprise their loved ones with a complete transformation of their homes.
The show was first seen on television on April 13th, 2020, with only around six episodes in season 1. The producers were glad to see the show take off as soon as it was released, and new seasons have come out each year since. The latest 6th season of Celebrity IOU has been airing since May 15th, 2023. Throughout its airing, the renovation series has featured celebs such as Brad Pitt, Michael Buble, Rainn Wilson, Kris Jenner as well as Snoop Dogg.
As exciting as the previous seasons were, get ready to witness new A-listers this season, as Heidi Klum is set to be the first celebrity that the season will feature. Like always, Jonathan and Drew Scott will be putting out their best renovation ideas to make sure that these worthy celeb relatives and friends are happy with the outcome. These brothers are known for their skilled renovations that never disappoint, so there’s much to look forward to in the new season of Celebrity IOU.
Celebrity IOU: What Happened In Season 5?
The previous season of the HGTV show began airing on November 14th, 2022. It began with the house renovation of Leslie Jordan’s old friend, who had been with him through thick and thin for four decades. This makeover was a challenge for the brothers as they had to keep their southwestern style intact while making sure the total theme of the house was more modern. This renovation was followed by Idina Menzel’s gift for her friend, which involved changing the structure of an unused garage into a perfect training room.
Episode 3 of Celebrity IOU season 5 featured the iconic host and football player, Terry Crews. The Everybody Hates Chris actor was looking to transform his close friend’s backyard into nothing less than a beautiful luxury resort, complete with an outdoor kitchen and a gym. Other popular celebs that were able to surprise their close friends and relatives with amazing makeovers in the 5th season were Kate Hudson, Cindy Crawford, Wilmer Valderrama, and Drew Barrymore.
Celebrity IOU Season 6: Episode Schedule
This season will have a total of 8 new episodes, which will be aired on Mondays. Each episode of Celebrity IOU will last for about 51-55 minutes. The Episode Schedule is:
- Episode 1: May 15th, 2023.
- Episode 2: May 22nd, 2023.
- Episode 3: May 29th, 2023.
- Episode 4: June 5th, 2023.
- Episode 5: June 12th, 2023.
- Episode 6: June 19th, 2023.

The first episode of the season will begin with Heidi Klum’s surprise renovation for her housekeeper. The worker has been with the supermodel for more than 17 years, and Heidi feels it’s high time she gives out the love in return. The house will be made into a luxurious home with the help of Jonathan and Drew, who will call upon their highly skilled builders and designers to make Heidi’s ideas come to life.
Another celebrity that we’ll be seeing in season 6 is Kristin Chenoweth, the award-winning American actress and voice actor who has been featured in TV shows like BoJack Horseman, The Good Wife, and the nostalgic kids’ series Sesame Street. She will be teaming up with the brothers to surprise her property managers with an exciting makeover.
Other A-listers we’ll be seeing this time on Celebrity IOU are Lisa Kudrow, John C. Reilly, Halle Berry, Kristin Davis, as well as the Black-ish actor Anthony Anderson. From backyard transformations to life-changing complete house makeovers, this season will be consisting of some of the best renovations Drew and Jonathan have ever performed.

Unseen episodes of the Scott brother’s renovation series will be released on HGTV at around 8:00 pm ET & 7:00 pm CT. On-demand episodes of Celebrity IOU will be available to stream on HGTV’s Website as well as on Apple TV. Canadian viewers can watch the series on Global TV.
