This Comedy and Romance manga called I Wanted to Be Praised by a Gal Gammer is a fun manga about our protagonist, Raito Sasaki who is yet another average gamer that wants to become one of the best gamers ever, a professional gamer one might say. He decides to spend his money towards that dream and hire a professional game trainer who will help him become better and hone his skills. What he does not know nor expect is that his Trainer ends up being a girl his age and that too a Gyaru — Gyaru is a Japanese fashion style that the girls who are a part of this culture follow where they have a particular way of dressing up and styling.

Will Sasaki be able to concentrate on his game or will he end up falling to her charms and getting distracted by her beauty? We will only know more about it as we continue reading this manga follow along with the story and watch it develop.

I Want to Be Praised by a Gal Gamer Chapter 35 Recap: Spoilers

This chapter starts with Rion Suzuki — our main female lead — cheering Sasaki on by saying he is doing great and saying she wants to see if he can clear the level on his first try. But things take a turn when his childhood friend starts accusing him of doing lewd things with Rion. Sasaki keeps on trying to explain that there is nothing going on between Rion and him and that she just misunderstands their relationship.

Raito is blamed for trying on Rion for calling her on valentine’s day which he refuses instantly, trying to snap his friend out of these thoughts. This is when his friend comes between Rion and Raito, saying she will protect her from Sasaki as he keeps on trying to tell her that it was a misunderstanding.

The panel cuts to a scene of them sitting down with all the misunderstandings cleared. Sasaki’s friend ends up asking him which one of the girls he gets off to which makes Raito stunned. His friend brings Rion in saying that even she is interested in knowing and with this the chapter ends.

There was also a valentine’s special posted for this manga where we see Rion giving Sasaki Chocolates as a reward for working hard for the club which makes him flabbergasted and happy. Although Rion pretends to just be giving the chocolates as a reward, we can see that it made her nervous as it was also the first time, she gave a boy chocolate on valentines.
