Nomoto Yuuya is kind of a weakling in the group, so none of the guys gives any thought to his warning, and after quite a while, Uzaki Hitomi ends up killing Nomoto’s classmates. She asks Nomoto to keep driving, and then they reach a mountain full of dead bodies.
This is quite shocking for a weak guy like Nomoto, and he loses his sanity. He finds a strange guy on the vacant plot, and when Nomoto shares his story with him, the guy tells him that it is a work of a hybrid with a brain of a human and the fangs of a beast, and it is a new breed with strength that exceeds the human race, and thus they are called the hybrid.

In the previous chapter, the old man tells them where he was propositioned by a bear and begins to explain his story. When they were on a date, the bear suddenly pushed him down, and then it occurred to him how powerful the bear was at that time.
Then he realized that humans were no match at all, and all they could do was flap their arms and legs uselessly. But at least they could still move in comparison to the power of a lion, which is exceptional in every aspect, but in the case of the bear, it was just playing around with him, and yet he could not move a muscle.
Even when its intentions were not all about fighting, its instinct was to lock down its opponent’s movements. Hitomi was not ready to accept after the battle, and the lion was baffled at her attempt. He asks her what drives her to win: strength or pride.
