Zagan and Nephie proposed to each other in the previous chapters, and despite being successful, these two lovers still suffer as they try to figure out their feelings, all the while trying to act more like couples. Nephie has finally managed to muster up the courage to approach Zagan now, and so they have gotten their first moment as a couple, but it’s not always sunshine, right?
While our two main characters enjoy their romantic life, their city faces a great threat from the Kianoides as they surround their city and aim to disrupt their peace. What will Zagan do? Nephie visits Zagan and asks to have a word with him, but when Zagan allows her to speak, she just gets embarrassed and says that she only wants to say his name. Despite this being a very naive reason, Zagan still considers this a very lovely reason as he’s completely in love with her, but there’s this issue, Zagan has no idea how to approach the girl he holds so dearly even after they confessed in the past.
Zagan thinks of how the distance between him and Nephie has only widened since they confessed, as the two of them always get embarrassed at the mere sight of each other. He tries to come up with plans for them to act like couples, but all the plans somehow fail in the end. He wants to know more about Nephie, but he can’t just ask something like that randomly but no more.

Nephie has finally shown the courage to approach him, and so he must say something. After being bombarded with many thoughts, he asks Nephie to kneel before him(wait, what?). After Nephie kneels before him, he pulls her closer and puts her head on his lap. Despite being embarrassed at first, Nephie eventually comes to like it.
Nephie enquires about Nephtheros, the elf who recently disappeared from Zagan. She says that it’s blurry, but she remembers playing with her, and she feels like Nephtheros is hurting somehow Zagan agrees with her, saying that as they are both elves, they must be connected somehow.
Zagan says that he will help Nephtheros in any way possible, but he will need Nephie’s help as he can’t understand her feelings. Nephie then asks Zagan to switch places with her. Zagan gets embarrassed at first but eventually agrees to keep his head on her lap, and he feels like he’s in heaven after that.

Meanwhile, A new priest, specifically a beast woman from Lycaon, has entered the city. The Lycaonians are known to worship many gods, while the church only worships one true god, and this has led to many disputes between the two.
There’s something weird about this particular Lycaonian and thought. She has four ears meaning she’s half-human and half-beast, a specie hated by both humans and beasts alike. Everyone wishes for peace, but it just doesn’t seem to be possible as the Kianoides have surrounded the peaceful land and have announced to cause chaos.
