Investigation Discovery has come up with yet another intriguing series called “Married To Evil” that’s sure to absorb you into its crime-filled episodes.
The show is set to portray eerily true cases that have happened in and across the US, UK, and many other places. These aren’t just any ordinary stories, but real instances of murder, deceit, and stalking that happened between spouses, the people who are supposed to love you and protect you.
Married To Evil was first seen on television on May 29th, 2023. It took off with the episode “Control Freak Killer”, where we were able to see what happened between the couple Olivia and Christopher.
New, real stories will be shown throughout the season which haven’t received enough attention at all. Each episode will be focusing on a single case where their spouse or partner became the reason behind misfortune for these people.
Married To Evil portrays the cases of men and women who fell victim to their partners, not knowing what their true personality was like. As we see, most of the time, the marriage starts pleasantly, but only until the mask stays on.
Once the psychopathic partner gets used to someone, they can go as far as murdering them or harming someone else seriously with no remorse. These are the kind of spine-chilling cases that Married To Evil will be talking about. We’ll also be seeing interviews and real evidence from the actual cases while actors are hired to act out various situations.
Married To Evil Episode 1: Recap
In last week’s episode of Married To Evil, we see the case of Christopher Jones, a man who worked as a correctional officer at the prison. Whether he loved his job a lot or had serious insecurities issues, his wife, Olivia, became the victim of his psychotic tendencies. Just as he would guard the prison, Christopher began to slowly turn his warm and happy house into his own depressing prison.
The situation was so severe at the time that when February 14th arrived, Olivia was expecting a sweet day filled with beautiful memories; what she got instead were moments that got her closer to death and other horrors. When the police arrive at the scene to assess Olivia and Christopher’s situation, nothing seems wrong at first, and they look like a happy couple, that is, until one of the police officers gets into the home security system. The shocking evidence against Christopher was enough to make him lose his job as a correctional officer.
Married To Evil Episode 2: Release Date
The next episode of Married To Evil will be aired on Sunday, June 4th, 2023. Although the episode schedule is yet to be released by ID, we might end up seeing about 8-12 episodes for this season, as the platform usually chooses to keep its crime documentaries short and intriguing. Each episode of Married To Evil can last from anywhere around 45 to 50 minutes.

In the upcoming episode of Married To Evil, we’ll be witnessing the events that happened in Jessica’s unfortunate marriage. When she first met her now ex-husband, Jessica felt glad knowing she had found her prince charming, but things sadly took a turn for the worse when they got married soon after meeting each other. He would often abuse Jessica, but the little affection would always make her stay in their marriage, with the couple even having children together.
When her husband’s aggressiveness was getting out of hand, Jessica decided to pack up her bags and leave, ending the toxic relationship once and for all, or that’s what she thought when she was signing the divorce papers. Years later, the same husband has now become a crazy and obsessive stalker, and having to share the custody of her kids with him wasn’t helping Jessica either.
Married To Evil Episode 2: Where To Watch?
All-new episodes of the intense crime documentary show will be aired on ID at around 10:00 pm ET & 9:00 pm CT. On-demand episodes of Married To Evil will be available to stream through ID’s website and Discovery+, although in limited locations.
