Megatera Zero is performing the opening theme “Ta ga Tame” and Azusa Tadokoro (Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken, Musaigen no Phantom World) performs the ending theme “Private Room.”
Ryuuichi Kimura (Aikatsu!) is directing the television anime at Bandai Namco Pictures. Keiichirou Oochi (Peach Boy Riverside) is handling the series composition, and Shiori Fujisawa (Aikatsu on Parade! SD character design) is designing the characters. John Kanda (Kumo desu ga, Nani ka? theme song composition) and XELIK (Fate/Grand Carnival theme song arrangement) are composing the music.
The anime series adapts Onigunsou‘s supernatural fantasy manga, which began in Miracle Jump in April 2014 before switching to Ultra Jump in January 2016. Shueisha published the 15th volume on January 19. Shueisha’s Shounen Jump+ web magazine also serializes the manga.
Seven Seas Entertainment licensed the manga in English on April 27. The second volume shipped on April 11, while the third volume is set to release on July 11.
