Chapter 57 opens up with Su Ling’s old Landlord, Albert visiting her room. She gets surprised at first, but he explains that he only wants something to eat as he hasn’t eaten for a while. Su Ling asks him to come in when Albert takes a look at her room and asks him what kind of job she’s doing. Su Ling can’t tell him the truth, and so Albert assumes she’s doing something shady.

Su Ling brings some food for Albert, and he starts shaking upon seeing it. He starts eating in a very inhuman way, eating even the wrappers and everything. Su Ling realizes that it is some supernatural phenomenon, and so she rushes to report to the Anti-magic bureau, but she finds out that her phone is missing.
