The Manhwa ‘Ranker’s Return (Remake)’ is an action series written by Yeong Biram. The story follows the life of Kang Hyeonu, the strongest-ranked player in the early days. He deleted his character and quit his job to finish mandatory military service and inherit his father’s company but the world had some other plans for him.
They struggle to make ends meet as his father’s business fails. He was having trouble, but as time passed, everything changed, and two years later Hyeonu was working part-time jobs in order to make ends meet. He earned $8.9 an hour working at a convenience shop.
The luxurious successor to Damsu Construction sank to such an extent. He was forced to support his family after his father became bedridden and his father’s business went bankrupt. He now worked many part-time jobs while also trying to save money for his father’s medical costs and taking care of his family’s living expenses.
Even though Hyeonu had abandoned Youngchan after having a bankruptcy, the two remained friends. He believed that talking to him would just make him feel worse.
Youngchan suggested he get back into the arena as it was really profitable these days. If he debuts as an ex-player he won’t take long to earn in 6 figures. Hyeonu gives it a thought and regretted why he deleted his account.
He learned that the current hardship facing his family was a result of his father’s business partner, Mr. Jung. The circumstances of him and his family were made fun of by Jung’s son. Hyeonu became furious and sought revenge. He chooses whether or not the arena was the only way he could regain the top ranking under any circumstances.

In chapter 102 of Ranker’s Return, we saw that the black skull guild master upon seeing his sword remembered a few bad memories, it was the Dwarf’s blade. He wasn’t expecting to see it again but here it was. That time it hit Hyeonu that the character had lost but he was leveling up again.
Mr. Choi Yoon got matched with the villain of his broadcast. The ranked match began and Hyeonu was hella excited to bag up good money. The stream was exciting and Choi Yoon won. It was only a few months back black skull guild was destroyed and Sharon was only on the 60th level now.
Choi Yoon took everyone down one by one gaining wins but soon he had to face the opponent who could take the hit and not get affected by it. He was the first opponent who figured out the counter.
Choi Yoon’s knowledge of moves beyond the counter was now questioned by the streamers. Soon, Choi Yoon’s opponent realized that Choi Yoon lacked basic abilities and that all he needed to do to win was to avoid his counterattack.
Choi Yoon didn’t give up; he persisted in using counter skills until, at last, he employed sky counter and outlasted his adversary, stunning everyone who had assumed that he only knew how to use ground counter.
Just by using his counterattacks, he was going to win the bronze rank. Choi Yoon now had to fight Kim Ji Hean, a big star pro gamer. Kim Ji Hwan was fed up with his boss’s scolding he wanted to just take this win and get some rest but when he logged in to the game he got to know he had to fight Choi Yoon who had 24 wins in a row.
