In the previous chapter of “Reaper of the Drifting Moon”, the fierce battle between Pyo Wol and Master Gu Han continued. As Wol and Han cross swords, the obvious difference in strength becomes more and more apparent to Han. Wol continues his attacks, using Swift Mind and Black Lightening techniques on Gu Han.
The Swift Mind technique lets Wol increase his ability to think swiftly, and Black lightening increases his physical abilities to the maximum, enabling him to move at the speed of light. Han realizes that he will end up just like Sage Mu Jeong if he continues fighting and called forth Seolran and Black Clouds Corps Master to bring Wol down.
Both Seolran and Corps Master charge forward in an attempt to stop Wol but fail miserably. Wol strikes down the Corps Master first, who is charging at him with his sword in hand. When Seolran attempts to stop Wol, he moves past her at such a great speed that she doesn’t even see him pass.
Wol reaches Gu Han, and a blue and black tornado of light and wind envelope them. Gu Han curses Wol and says that Shichuan would have been his if Wol hadn’t interfered. Without warning, Wol strikes his final attack and kills Gu Han mercilessly.
