As the name suggests, Standard of Reincarnation is a manhwa series that follows the concept of reincarnation or Isekai. It was written by Kim and Pyeonbeom and illustrated by Lee and Sangkyung. The series started serializing back in August 2022 and is serialized by KakaoPage.
The story follows a guy named Daven Samion, who was born into a very well-known martial family. He was the only hope of his father, who dreamed of beating his older brother, but the only thing that made them hate their own child was the fact that he was born without an arm.
He was to compete with the likes of his cousin, the son of his father’s older brother and a descendant from the direct line of Samion named Kajin, a child blessed by the Sword God Keshak with a blessed body and talent.
Even though Daven was very slow to progress, Kajin beat him to everything. Daven never lost hope and kept working hard even with such backlash from his own family and disadvantages such as missing an arm in one such tournament. Daven was successful in beating the prodigy Kajin.
Kajin was not happy with this and stabbed his own cousin in the back. Daven survived the stab but was sent off to life imprisonment for the crime of making a deal with the devil, which was completely forged by the Samion family to save their name.

So the chapter starts at the final moments of the second round at the tournament in the city arena.
Vinchen stood his ground and took a fatal injury but was able to achieve victory by puncturing his chest with a spear but recording a faster time. His injuries were very serious, and his wounds were treated immediately by his party members.
He healed very quickly with the help of the healers available, but the damage from the spear was very severe. His heart wasn’t fully healed, so he is advised not to overdo his fights, or he will lose his mana forever.

As we were getting to know about his injuries, the headmaster came barging in with news. She tells him that the Matriarch of the Samion family wants to have dinner with him and his father, which is a big deal considering he is a direct competitor of the heir of the Samion family.
At the dinner, both the Matriarch of the Samion family and the Matriarch of the Adenca family continued to test each other’s heir to see who had more potential and power. Vinchen reacted quickly to the murderous mana emitted by the Matriarch of the Samion family, while on the other hand, Kajin unnoticed the mana coming from Vinchen’s father to test him.
The chapter ends with the Matriarch of both families, Samion and Adenca discussing the interference of the upper elders of both families in the running tournament and how they may be plotting a scheme against Vinchen to eliminate him.
