The Blacklist Season 10 Episode 11 Recap

The show begins with a scene at a convenience store called “Quick Stop,” where an obnoxious influencer is shooting a video about some smoking products when an armed dude steps in the store and locks the door, priming us to what will be the rest of the episode.

Then, we go someplace else, Dembe calls Cooper, and he lets them know that there’s a hostage situation at the Quick Stop that got everyone’s attention because the armed dude was caught on the influencer’s camera, and the whole thing blew up the internet. As it seems, our boy Raymond Reddington was also at the convenience store getting some shopping done, and it turns out that Reddington can’t be seen in front of the TV and can’t be arrested.

So Cooper, knowing that the task force is caught between a rock and a hard place, and facing Cynthia Panabaker’s incoming visit concerning Wujing’s death, figures that Red is caught in a predicament. After that, Dembe and Ressler show up at the Quick Stop, and boss around the cops; it’s your typical dangerous hostage situation. Ressler pretends to take care of things with the cops, but his intentions are thwarted the moment the SWAT team arrives.

Reddington Was In The Store

Things get heated up in the store, a shot is heard from the outside, Dembe tries to contact people inside without success, and Ressler uses a megaphone to communicate inside. It appears the shooter is dead, but Reddington isn’t inside, so Dembe and Ressler go check things out. The hostage taker was a dude named Jack Davis, and he had been charged with and convicted of some small drug crimes.

Dembe tells Ressler that the gun that was found was not a revolver and that Red owns it. Also, an older man who says he is one of the hostages was dressed like Raymond. Dembe investigates and figures out that the clothes the old man dressed like Reddington aren’t his because of the quality.

Reddington was at the store, the moment the dude with the gun came in, and things got tense. Reddington produced his gun and killed him. He told the witnesses that he was wanted and the cops were hounding him, so he left through the back door and walked his way to a bus stop. But the plot twist shows when we later learn that Reddington offered the witnesses some cash in exchange for their silence.
