Let’s know The Crowned Clown Ending Explained. The Crowned Clown is a Korean drama that was released in 2019 and has been remake of a movie titled Masquerade which was released in 2012.
The main focus of the movie is King Joseon and all about his adventures as a clown king who is the doppelganger of the original King who was put on the throne by the original King to protect himself from the power struggle which was ongoing in the royal court. The show aired from 7th January to 4th March 2019 and had 16 episodes in total.
The plot of the movie is from the mid-Joseon period when he has been struggling with the power struggles around him to these to the throne many people. He comes to know that many people are ready to kill him, so to escape those things, he puts a clown King that looks just like him on the throne and moves away from the city.
The clown king soon begins to get comfortable with his role as the King, and the enemies of the King are now identified by this clown king. The Crowned Clown Ending Explained
In the last few episodes of the show, we saw Lee was unable to find out what happened to the chief role secretary when he captured Prince Jin-Pyung’s soldiers who were in the palace. Ha Seon was instructed by Moo-Young to contact General Kang, whose main responsibility was to handle the National Defense with chief royale secretary Lee.
He was also suggested by Queen So-Woon to contact her father who was General Kim. But Moo-Young rejected at offer by giving the reason that the location of the father was too far and it would take all the soldiers and the general four days to arrive there and which would be late.
Queen Dowager was also in contact with minister shin, who told him that if he was able to capture Ha Seon and bring it to the royal court, then he should have a vote to select the next King. According to Royal Concubine Hwa-dang, ha Seon will be informed of the letter that Minister Shin stole from Chief Royal Secretary Lee’s messenger and sent to the Jurchens.
In a letter to Ha Seon, Minister Shin threatened to put an end to the uprising in exchange for Ha Seon ordering the death of Chief Royal Secretary Lee and opening the palace gates. As a counterproposal, Ha Seon offers to meet Minister Shin and Prince Jin-Pyung inside the palace in front of the royal court ministers.
Later, Royal Concubine Hwa-dang is discovered dead in her quarters, and the stolen letter from Chief Royal Secretary Lee is nowhere to be found, despite a thorough investigation. Ha Seon instructs Moo-young to detain and question the principal attendant of the Royal Concubine Hwa-dang.
Ha Seon urges the Queen Dowager to permit the safe departure of Chief Royal Secretary Lee’s body in return for enabling Minister Shin and the seriously injured Prince Jin-Hyung to leave the palace.
Minister Shin is killed by Ha Seon after being lured into the palace. The Queen Dowager is later removed from power and given a poisoned death sentence. Ha, Seon abdicates and gives the crown over to his chosen successor once the rice payment tax has been put in place and there is calm throughout the kingdom. He and So-woon reconcile two years later.
