Moving to what has happened so far, the last chapter started by describing Choi Hakjun, who is the country’s youngest A-ranked and awakened fighter. He is also a part of the prestigious Ares Guild, which is widely known.
But the chapter takes a bloodier turn when it is revealed that the night before the advancement test which could have made him an S-rank, Hakjun killed all of the Ares Guild, all with a wicked smile on his face.

It turns out that the narrator is no other than Sung Bin, who is recollecting having met with Choi Hakjun before he was transported into the past. The Choi Hakjun then had displayed a cruel nature. When Sung Bin asked him if he wishes to save the world, Hakjun dismissed it by saying that he is not interested in wasting his life for the sake of others.
This is in direct contrast with the Choi Hakjun he now knows when he is in past, who is rather nice. It was like meeting a whole different person. During the fight at Anyang, Choi Hakjun of the past had fought for the sake of protecting others. Sung Bin expresses his confusion as to why Hakjun became the way he did in the future.
The backstory ends and we see Choi Hakjun attacking a hospital. He wishes to provoke a fight with Sung Bin. It makes the latter learned of the former’s true power. An impressive fight follows soon enough.
