The Priest of Corruption Chapter 9 will have the Priest and his associate making their way into the depths of the dungeon. The journey so far has not been easy for them, as there have been quite a few challenges that have been beyond their league. And it is especially hard for the MC, who has been dissociated with a bit of his humanity.
Marnak was the name of MC after he got reincarnated into this world into the cheat character that he had created. He doesn’t know much about the game that he has been transported to. All he remembers is the things he did for his characters. He had boosted the character to be the strongest in the game but with the worst class.
The corrupted priest was his class of choice, and he had a good run with this character until he got summoned into it. He was in the skin of the said character, but there were some big changes. Due to his cheats, he had got a curse that didn’t let him feel or taste anything. And so Marnak went on a journey to get his senses back.
The Priest of Corruption Chapter 8 Recap
The Priest of Corruption Chapter 8 saw the team of four going to the real Golem that was guarding the path to the inner parts. Marnak was able to tell that Golem was the real guardian and one they needed to fight. However, he was too strong for them to face in their current state.
Two of their temp members got killed in the state, and the corrupt priest had to make a quick decision to save his ally and drag him out. Given his affiliation with the goddess of corruption, he can’t use his powers in the open, but with no witnesses, he could go all out and defeat the giant.
And Marnak was able to defeat the giant with the help of the mother, but he wasn’t ready for what was after. Three more of those golems showed up, shocking Marnak and even the goddess that was with him. And this was when he decided to ditch the helper that the goddess had gotten for him and go to the depths while fetching the one he saved.

The Priest of Corruption Chapter 9 will have Marnak enter unknown grounds in the deepest part of the dungeon. Things will be even more dangerous than they have been before, and there are fewer of them since their expedition started. However, there will be many things attention that will be getting inside that place.
Marnak will also get more divinity points at this place as he gets many items filled with divinity that he could absorb. This will bring him even closer to fulfilling his wish and getting his sense of taste back. However, just as they would wrap up after getting many things they could, they would meet the boss.
And this time Marnak would have to think carefully as the boss is stronger, but his collected divinity should help.
