Danny McBride’s The Righteous Gemstones season three is back for another shot at laughs at the expense of a corrupt, dysfunctional family of Christian evangelicals whose antics, shenanigans, and quirks are far from what you’d expect from the values they preach to their congregation followers. This means another season of crime, of deceit, and also of black humor like the one that the producers and cast know how to deliver.
This series starring John Goodman as the patriarch and his three children Danny McBride, Edi Patterson, and Adam DeVine in the roles of Judy, Jesse, and Kelvin will make you laugh out of your chair with this great black comedy developed by Jodi Hill and Danny McBride.
The Righteous Gemstones Season 3 Preview
The Gemstones are back for another season of ungodly antics. This not-so-merry bunch are a group of utterly dysfunctional Christian evangelicals whose handling of their congregation, a multimillion-dollar enterprise has been a family business for quite some time.
Season three picks up from where we left off. Eli is enjoying retirement from his ministry, all the while his three kids, one more corrupt than the other, Judy, Jesse, and Kelvin are now in charge of running the day-to-day operations, but they can’t seem to get it right, and Eli will have eventually to pop out from retirement to do a thing or two.
But that’s not all, because judging from the third season’s trailer, it seems as though there’s a rag-tag militia waiting to be the season’s antagonists. As such, there’ll be guns, there’ll be laughs and there’ll be lots of crazy fights over the Sunday meals as we’re used to with the Righteous Gemstones.
