INSTALLATION

  1. Once you purchase the App from Webkul store, you will receive the link to download the zip file of the module.
  2. Extract the file on your system after the download finishes. You will be able to see a folder named- ‘odoo_eu_price_indication.’
  3. Copy and paste this folder inside your Odoo Add-Ons path.
  4. Now, open the Odoo App and click on the Settings menu. Here, click on Activate the Developer Mode.
  5. Then, open the Apps menu and click on ‘Update Modules List.’
  6. In the search bar, remove all the filters and search ‘odoo_eu_price_indication.’
  7. You will be able to see the module in the search result. Click on ‘Install’ to install it.

WORKFLOW

Let’s start the configuration of the Odoo EU Price Indication Directive.

CONFIGURATION

1. After installation, go to ‘Website> Configuration> Websites.’

NOTE: You must enable the ‘Developers Mode’ to access this menu.

2. In the website menu, enable/disable ‘Enable EU Price.’ Also, in the added ‘EU Price Indicative’ tab, enter the ‘Maximum Duration.’ Once done, save the changes.

3. After configuring EU Price Indication Directive, move to ‘Settings> Technical> Automation> Scheduled Actions.’

4. Locate ‘Price Indicative Cron’ and enable it by sliding the slider next to the ‘Active’ option. Further, you can view the ‘Next Execution Date.’ The ‘Number of Calls’ represent how many times it can make a cron call, and -1 represents an infinite number.

Moreover, the ‘Available on the Website’ option published the cron option on the website.

5. Now, go to ‘Website> EU Price Indicative> EU Price History’ to view the list of every product’s price history.

6.  On the Odoo website, you can see the current and previous prices of the product, and by hovering over ‘What’s This?’ you can see how old the earlier price is.

7. Now, open ‘Website> eCommerce> Products> Products’ and open any product with price history.

8. On the product page, click the ‘EU Price History’ options that redirect you to another page.

9. On the page, you can see every price history of that particular product.
