Moreover, he is the only one close to a father figure in Uzaki’s senpai, and the two are gym buddies too. This odd relationship made them closer and helped them talk about things with each other they wouldn’t listen to others. But it also led to some moments as the two were introduced to one another through Uzaki under different pretenses.

He is still not at the place he wants to be, as he is sure that the person wouldn’t look at him. And just like that, his father showed up to talk about the growth he had gone through.
He explained to him how the muscles around his shoulders had increased in volume thanks to the swimming that he had been made to go through these past three months. He then later explained how the upcoming three months would affect his body further—impressing his son for the first time in the series and having him look like a dependable father.
However, all of this moment is ruined when they start talking about Uzuki’s brother’s love life. He wasn’t sure if the gains he had made any difference, but his father assured him that they would in the long run. And to prove his point, he had just the story in mind; the story of how Uzuki’s parents met.

While Uzuki had made it her mission to make Shinichi social whether he liked to or not, the parent’s situation was different.
For one, we see the story through the perspective of Uzuki’s father, someone who is sociable and likes to hang out with other people. And for others, the main heroine of the story is Uzuki’s mother, who has perverted thoughts now and then whenever someone dangerous-looking approaches. The main question that everyone will have their mind is if Uzuki’s mother was the same way during her college days or did something happen that made her this way.
