2022 saw a loss of more than fifteen WWE wrestlers. Among them, the one that died recently in 2022 was Nathan Blodgett, known by his ring name, Jaysin Strife. Saying bye to the talented male and female wrestlers is never easy, as they keep entertaining us every week.
Jaysin Strife was a thirty-seven-year-old WWE Wrestler born on 14 August 1985 in Dubuque, Lowa. People also knew him by nicknames such as The Bullet-Proof Tiger and Dangerous J.
Apart from Jaysin Strife, his other ring names were Yellow Dog, Steve Snyder, and Strife. He completed the promotions of the International Wrestling Association (IWA), Pro Wrestling Phoenix (PWP), 3XWrestling, and National Wrestling Alliance (NWA).
The skilled wrestler, Strife, got trained by two worthy wrestlers, Jayden Draigo and Hype Gotti. He passed his knowledge further to Zac James and Angelus Layne by training them. Strife used to win over his opponents through finishing and signature moves called Zeal Buster.

Jaysin Strife’s Health
Strife used to update his fans about his health condition through Twitter. He requested those on the National Wrestling Media to write a story on what he had gone through in the past three years.
As of 23 June 2022, he underwent a cancer treatment procedure with a paralyzed vocal cord. So, he decided to get into the ring with all his power next time. The cancer treatment took all his energy, but he kept tweeting to remind people of his existence.
Strife was in the hospital in July 2022 and remained busy with his edibles, painkillers, and sleeping pills in August. His tweets showed how desperate he was to get back into the ring, create professional wrestlers, and provide a helping hand to the animal rescues.
Strife believed in stability and giving back rather than appearing on TV in the name of success. He knew people might not go through his every tweet, but he still wanted to pour his heart out.
Strife’s medical bill came to be over $500k in August. He could not go for surgery that month for being tested positive for COVID. The struggle did not leave him even for a second! Meanwhile, his tweets related to entertainment, humor, and wrestling showed how he tried to entertain himself during the painful cancer treatment.
Strife had a bone marrow biopsy in September or October 2022, but the loss of sixty pounds during his treatment could not take his charm away. However, his health rapidly declined after 21 October 2022.
Strife made a will and power of attorney only at thirty-six though it was too weird for him. He also asked people to profess their love to him as they might not see him later.
Jaysin Strife’s Death
Strife was a 5’11’’ American beast who took his last breath on 29 December 2022 at 09:55 PM in Council Bluffs, Lowa, at thirty-seven after battling with an illness for a long time, according to his brother’s (Jason) Facebook post shared by him with extreme sadness.
Strife came as a professional wrestler for the first time in 2005. In 2014, he appeared on an American professional wrestling television program called WWE Raw. He competed against a Japanese wrestler, Akira Tozawa, who won the WWE 24/7 Champion title sixteen times.
Strife performed as a solo wrestler for various promotions, including Impact Wrestling and AEW Dark. He fought fifty-one fights and won thirty-seven, while one was a draw. He used to enjoy his life because people paid him for what he loved to do, and it was wrestling!
Known for his Agnosticism stance, Strife shared the ring with Matt Sydal, Jay Lethal, Claudio Castagnoli, Chris Hero, and more. He had a notable contribution to WWE, and accepting his death was not easy for everyone.
Strife’s fans and fellow wrestlers, such as Ethan Page, Sonjay Dutterson, and Adam Pearce, supported him on social media after his death. According to them, wide-eyed Strife was a rare gem. He would let anyone in his world and treat everyone with respect, no matter if the person was famous or not.
Strife’s influence could be felt in and out of the ring. Jason thanked the ones who expressed their condolence through social media. However, he did not mention the exact reason for his brother’s death. Meanwhile, his family deals with Strife’s memorial services cost by setting up GoFundMe.
